State Bank of India (SBI) jobs

State Bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Mumbai issued Recruitment notification of Probationary Officer (PO) in SBI 2016-17. Online Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) for filling up total 2200 Vacancies in SBI All Over India. The Online Registration start from 4th May 2016 and close on 24th May 2016.

21 to 30 Years as on 01/04/2016. i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1986 and not later than 01.04.1995 (both days inclusive).
Emoluments: the starting basic pay is ₹ 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of ₹ 23700-980/ 7-30560-1145/ 2-32850-1310/ 7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
Age Relaxation: 05 Years for SC / ST; 03 Years for OBC; PWD (SC/ST)  -15 Years; PWD (OBC) - 13 Years;  PWD (Gen) - 10 Years; Persons ordinarily domiciled of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 (and) Ex-Serviceman - 05 Years.
Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 31.08.2016):
(1) Graduation (Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(2) Final Year Graduate students can also Apply for SBI PO Recruitment 2016-17. If final years / semester candidates called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31/08/2016.
(3) Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2016.
(4) Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) may also apply.
Selection Process: Preliminary Examination (100 marks), Main Examination (200 marks), Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks).
Phase-I - Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 sections as follows:-

Phase - II: Main Examination: The Main Exam will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(I) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 sections for total 200 marks. The Objective Test will have separate timing for every section. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank
Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹ 600/- for General and OBC Category Candidates; ₹ 100/- (Intimation Charges Only) for SC / ST / PWD Category Candidates. The fee can be made through Online Payment Mode Only (by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking).
How to Apply: Eligible Graduate Candidates will be required to register themselves online through SBI Online Careers Portal on or before 24/05/2016.
