Samsung Galaxy C5, C7 rumours: Snapdragon 617, 4GB RAM and more

Samsung's yet-to-be-announced Galaxy C line-up -- consisting of at least two phones to begin with -- has been subject of numerous leaks and rumours lately. Just the other day, live photos of the alleged Galaxy C5 were spotted doing the rounds on the Internet. Now, a new report adds possible specs and pricing of the new Galaxy C phones.
According to Android Headlines , both the C5 and the C7 will sport all-metal unibody design and will be available in Silver, Gold, Pink and Gray colour variants. While the C5 is said to be a 5.2-inch phone, the C7 will be the bigger variant at 5.7-inches. Both the phones will however sport FullHD resolution display.
In terms of internal hardware, both the phones will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 617 processor aided with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. On the camera front, both the phones will carry the similar 16-megapixel rear cum 8-megapixel front snapper set-up. While the C5 will use a 2,600mAh battery, the C7 will be backed by a larger 3,300mAh battery.
Both the phones are said to be dualSIM and carry Samsung's Ultra High Quality Audio (UHQA) technology.
While the Galaxy C5 will reportedly be priced at 1,599 Yuan (Rs 16,396) in China, the Galaxy C7 will come at 1,799 Yuan (Rs 18,447) in China. Note that the Galaxy C5 and C7 will be a China-exclusive to begin with. These phones will likely be a connecting link between Samsung's affordable J-series and upper mid-tier A-range.
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) phones in India at Rs 15,990 and Rs 13,990 respectively. The Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) phones join the previously launched Galaxy J3 (2016) completing the company's Galaxy J-line up.
